Bangladesh Medical Research Council (BMRC) has adopted a resolution to further strengthen the national health research system through enhanced collaboration, capacity building, and evidence-based policy support.

During the recent council meeting, members emphasized the importance of promoting high-quality biomedical and public health research to address emerging health challenges in Bangladesh. The resolution highlights the need to expand research funding opportunities, encourage multidisciplinary research initiatives, and strengthen partnerships with national and international research institutions.

BMRC also resolved to enhance training programs for researchers and healthcare professionals, improve ethical oversight in health research, and facilitate wider dissemination of research findings to support national health planning and decision-making.

Through this resolution, BMRC reaffirms its commitment to advancing scientific research and contributing to the development of effective health policies that improve the health and well-being of the people of Bangladesh.
